Overview Central Otago is experiencing strong growth and development, and we are looking for a motivated Building Control Officer – Inspector to join our Regulatory Services team. This is an opportunity to work in a progressive council environment where your technical expertise will contribute directly to safe, compliant and high‑quality building outcomes across the district. Working under the technical direction of the Senior Building Control Officer and closely with the Team Leader Building Control, you will contribute to delivering consistent, technically robust and defensible regulatory decisions while supporting the Council’s Building Consent Authority (BCA) accreditation.
