Merrimack School District is hiring a full‑time Building Mechanic.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide students and staff with an attractive, safe, and well‑maintained facilities in which to work and learn.
Key Skills Needed
- Ability to diagnose and fix plumbing issues
- Ability to repair ejector pumps, sewer line blockages, urinals, flushometer, toilets, sinks, water fixtures, water leaks, and ball valves
Responsibilities
- Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
- Operate, install, and maintain heating, plumbing, and electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, and all other equipment
- Ability to operate plumbing equipment; e.g., drain snakes and jetter
- Grounds maintenance, mowing, snow shoveling
