A massive manufacturerwithin construction and mining is currently looking for a Brilliant Buyer toadd to their team.

DUTIES: Placing, expediting and rescheduling of orders on SAP, according to MRP exception messages, timeously. Maintain static data on SAP of materials and suppliers (Country of Origin, Tariff headings, lead times, price, delivery dates etc.) Drive cost and lead time down. Effect annual 3rd Party stock Returns until credit is passed. Establish and maintain excellent business relationships withsuppliers, forwarding & Clearing agents. Manage inventory levels efficiently and effectively as per thestocking policies as mandated by Management. Monitor and manage own performance Compile monthly reports Assist other departments and staff to resolve queries timeously. Evaluate Supplier price increases, make recommendations.
