Job Purpose:
The Refiner Operator is responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards while refining paste batches into liquid chocolate or compound.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Input required documentation of product specifications and quality into the system

Adjust machines as needed to minimize inaccuracies, defects, or waste

Deliver regular sample tests to laboratory to confirm accurate recipe specifications, measuring items such as fineness, color and consistency

Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

Ensure critical control point compliance documenting - Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; report any non-conformities
