The CAD Designer/Drafter is a hands-on, full-time CAD user responsible for creating and maintaining detailed 3D models, drawings, and associated documentation to support the development and manufacturing of handheld and benchtop products that integrate mechanical, electronic, and optical components. This role partners closely with engineering teams to ensure design intent, configuration control, and timely release of accurate deliverables. 

Responsibilities:
Create and revise 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings using PTC Creo, including family tables and surfacing, in accordance with internal standards.

Develop and maintain product structures (BOMs) and CAD data in PTC Windchill, ensuring proper configuration management, versioning, and release workflows.

Support cross-functional engineering activities by incorporating inputs from mechanical, electrical, and optical teams and resolving CAD-related issues.
