Camp Counsellor

Overview

As a General Counsellor, you are the heartbeat of the camper experience. You aren't just a supervisor; you are a mentor, a coach, and a role model. You will live in a tent with a group of up to 5 campers at a time, leading them through daily life, teaching skills, and embarking on new adventures.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentorship & Care: Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for your campers. Manage group dynamics and support the personal growth of each individual.
• Instruction: Lead or assist in various activities, such as windsufing, canoeing, archery, Nature, campcraft, and more.
• Canoe Tripping: Lead out-of-camp trips ranging from overnights to 10-day expeditions (depending on age group and experience).

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous work with children or in outdoor education is a major asset.
