Position description Perform general repairs to buildings, building components and furnishings as they relate to the carpentry trade. Build and install components from verbal instructions or simple sketches Respond promptly to emergency call-ins outside of normal working hours as requested
Under the overarching guidance of the Manager of Campus Infrastructure and Utilities, the incumbent is tasked with several responsibilities. Firstly, they are responsible for executing general repairs on buildings, building components, and furnishings within the realm of carpentry. Secondly, they are expected to construct and install components based on verbal instructions or basic sketches. Finally, they must be prepared to promptly respond to emergency call-ins beyond regular working hours as directed by the supervisor or Duty Engineer.
