Case Manager, Health Services

Purpose of position

Manage disabilities, medical accommodations, medical related absences/leaves as they apply to all employee groups.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrated competency in Disability Case Management;
• Complex case management-ability to prioritize case load;
• Proficiency in handling psychological claims;
• Implement professional case management strategies including return to work programs, injury prevention, and education/counseling;
• Capable of managing mixed case load of occupational and non-occupational injuries/illnesses;
• Liaise with health care providers, insurance providers and other external providers as necessary;
• Work collaboratively with Employee Relations, Operational Managers and other internal stakeholders;
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills;
