Position Overview
As a Category Manager you’ll be responsible for driving our strategies on assortment by defining our selection by store and working with other teams on sourcing, pricing and promotions across our markets for categories. This is a unique role with the opportunity to create genuine impact for the lives of everyday people in our region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the product line for Careem Groceries.
- Design the go‑to‑market strategy and maintain the selection strategy in alignment with the overall department and business strategy.
- Identify and source selection needed within the categories, keeping an eye on key consumer trends in online grocery and Q‑commerce business.
- Source and negotiate the required selection with the best prices, quality and minimum MOQ that meets the business objectives and ensure competitive commercial terms with suppliers.
