The Category Specialist is accountable for meeting financial sales and gross margin targets within assigned categories by executing go-to-market strategies defined by the Category Manager. Working collaboratively with the Category Manager and Centre of Excellence partners, this role supports supplier selection, sourcing, product selection, promotion development, and best-in-class product presentation to uphold the company’s brand vision and deliver a curated assortment that meets customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies by building channel-relevant assortments using analytics, market trends, and vendor insights.
- Partner closely with the Category Manager on line reviews, product selection, and sourcing, helping deliver a differentiated and customer-focused assortment.
