Role Overview
This role supports the delivery of a safe, high‑quality patient catering service within a hospital environment. You will assist with meal preparation and service, work closely with ward teams, and ensure patient needs are met with care, dignity, and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Support patient meal services at ward level, serving meals in correct portions and following dietary, allergen, and Trust procedures.
- Use patient meal‑ordering tablet to record and manage orders accurately.
- Work in cold conditions within the RDU preparation kitchen and assist with meal preparation, plating and distribution.
