It’s fun to work at The Y! 
We are looking for a Catering Manager to take the reins in our camp kitchen! This is a sole charge role where the main focus will be preparing meals for our school groups – catering to dietary requirements, helping us to ensure that all of our guests have an amazing camp experience!



What will you be doing?
Prepare and submit menus and accompanying budget no later than 2 weeks ahead of booking date to the Centre Manager for approval 
Preparing meals for campers based on a pre-planned menu and schedule
Discussing catering needs with organsiers to plan out their meals prior to attending camp.
Catering to dietary requirements e.g. gluten free, dairy free, vegan
Maintaining a clean & tidy kitchen and help to clean the camp
Stocktake, maintaining stock levels, coordinate the purchase of all food items and kitchen supplies (to approved budget)
