Position Summary:

The professional coder functions under the direction of the Tenet Regional Coding Director. The professional coder is responsible for assignment of medical coding by abstracting and review of the medical documentation according to Tenet Physician Resources coding guidelines, payer guidance and policies along with governmental regulations pertaining to coding and documentation.
