Chartering Manager (Tankers)

This role is responsible for maximizing fleet utilization, voyage profitability, and commercial performance through strategic vessel deployment, market intelligence, and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Chartering & Commercial Management

• Manage spot and period chartering activities for Petroleum Products (both in Clean & Crude and Dirty products)
• Handle in market and commercially manage owned, operated, and chartered tonnage to maximize fleet utilization and earnings.
• Develop and execute vessel employment strategies across spot, COA, and time-charter markets.
• Identify triangulation, backhaul, and arbitrage opportunities to optimize voyage returns and reduce ballast exposure.
• Negotiate and conclude charter-party agreements, including freight, hire rates, laytime, demurrage, and other commercial terms.
