Our client is a well established hotel chain and is is looking for a number of Chefs to join their vibrant restaurant in metropolitan Melbourne.

The Role
We are urgently looking to immediately fill these permanent full-time positions.

The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per our standards

Creating menus with flair and innovation having regard to our stock, season and patron
preferences
Ensure patron satisfaction & experience by delivering dishes to expectation
Monitoring stock level and ordering accordingly to ensure cost-effectiveness
Monitoring food preservation and rotation to ensure minimal wastage
Assisting and training kitchen staff in understanding dish preparation and ingredients
Aiding in the selection and training of kitchen staff.
