Eaton’s Electrical sector, Commercial Products and Assemblies (CPA) division is currently seeking a **Divisional Switchboard Chief Engineer** for Panelboard & Switchboards produce lines. This role may be located at Sumter, SC (preferred), El Paso, TX, Morrisville, NC, or Smyrna, GA, and relocation is available. A hybrid work model (3 onsite/2 remote) is available.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Chief Engineer serves as the technical subject matter expert for the product line across the CPA group. They define strategic direction, establish priorities, and indirectly lead site teams to achieve business objectives across the division. The Chief Engineer provides a broad, forward‑looking vision of future products and technologies, and offers expert consultation within their area of specialization.
