The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) serves as the senior nursing executive, responsible for the strategic direction, quality, and operational performance of all nursing and designated patient care services. CNO partners with executive leadership, the medical staff, and the governing board advance organizational strategy and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
This role provides 24/7 leadership accountability for:
- Clinical quality and patient safety
- Nursing workforce performance and engagement
- Regulatory compliance and evidence-based practice
- Resource and financial management
