Child and Youth Program (CYP) Direct Care Supervisor

Summary The purpose of the Child and Youth Program (CYP) Direct Care Supervisor position is to assist the facility Director in providing routine supervisory oversight, support and instruction for CYP Direct Care Professionals in Child Development Centers (CDC) and School Age Care (SAC) Programs. The CYP Direct Care Supervisor provides oversight and accountability of assigned of assigned staff during all hours of program operation. Responsibilities Supervisory Duties Directs work to be accomplished by staff. Assigns work based on priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments, and staff capabilities. Conducts annual performance reviews of staff. Participates in section staffing decisions. Ensures staff receives proper training to fulfill requirements of their positions. Addresses potential disciplinary and/or performance issues timely and takes appropriate, corrective action(s) as necessary. Supports Commander, Navy Installations Command's (CNIC) Equal Employment.
