About the Role
Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking experienced and motivated Children’s Social Workers to join our Assessment Teams across East and South Cambridgeshire. Key Responsibilities
- Lead statutory assessments, ensuring high‑quality and timely delivery
- Undertake strategy discussions and Section47 enquiries
- Prepare and present detailed court reports under Sections7,37, and31
- Complete SWET assessments and develop effective care plans
- Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners to safeguard children
- Maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 20 cases
