About the role
Active Care in the Home provides children’s care packages in Hailsham, Bexhill‑on‑Sea and Pevensey. We are recruiting Children’s Support Workers to support young clients with complex needs such as autism, ADHD, epilepsy, challenging behaviour, or complex clinical health needs. Clients live in family homes; our workers help them at home and in the community.
Applicants must hold a full UK driver’s licence to drive client vehicles.
When you will be working
- Hailsham package: weekday afternoons 3.30 pm‑6.30 pm and Saturdays 9.30 am‑6 pm, plus backup for morning shifts (6.30 am‑8 am)
- Hailsham package: 5 hours on a Saturday
- Bexhill‑on‑Sea package: Tuesdays and Thursdays 3.30 pm‑6.30 pm and Saturdays 10 am‑2 pm (non‑term time this changes to Monday‑Saturday 10 am‑4 pm)
- Pevensey package: Weekdays 4 pm‑8 pm (back‑up bank cover only)
