Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and assist in project delivery, understand scope of works, technical requirements, cost plans, and agreed deliverables including drawings, reports, specifications and calculations for all projects with your Line Manager. This includes site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activities.
• Sound understanding of highway design, grading and paving, drainage, below‑ground utilities, building elements, structure and foundation options, external works and ground improvement methods.
• Liaise with the design team to produce coordinated designs that are technically compliant, of consistent quality and standard. Provide positive contribution to design/project meetings as directed and maintain regular in‑house design reviews and checks.
