Summary of responsibilities
Under the supervision of the CSA Director (Civil, Structural & Architectural), the selected candidate will be part of the team dedicated to the engineering of light and heavy industrial buildings. More specifically, they will be responsible for:
- Designing and preparing calculation notes for concrete structures in heavy industrial buildings.
- Designing and preparing calculation notes for steel structures in heavy industrial buildings.
- Reviewing and assisting in the preparation of engineering drawings, design specifications, standard documents, and engineering reports.
- Following up with site construction, steel fabricators and reviewing shop drawings.
- Checking 2D drawings and 3D models for clashes and constructability issues with other disciplines.
