Overview
The Civil Engineering Departments within Candu Energy are engaged in nuclear civil engineering work involving structural analysis, civil design, ageing management to support life extension, plant modification, and service work of existing Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) and New Builds.
Civil/Structural engineers are required to perform structural and seismic analysis, seismic margin assessment, and structural design, as well as prepare and issue analysis, design, and assessment documents.
Your Role
- Perform structural analysis, seismic qualification, ageing management, and structural design for steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry systems.
- Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, including engineering calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and complete engineering packages.
