Claims Counsel - Professional Liability

Our Canadian office is currently recruiting for aClaims Counsel. The Claims Counselwill perform customer service, claims and legal functions within all lines of commercial business, but with particular emphasis on General Liability Claims andProfessional Liability claims. The incumbent will ensure timely disposition of mid-size to large complex claims with the purpose of achieving timely resolution / cost effective settlements on behalf of DWF Claims Canada Ltd. and its clients, both international and domestic. This position can be remote from anywhere in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex claims through adjusters and counsel with a focus primarily on Professional Liability and some Wrap up liability, and other liability claims
• Evaluate information on all types of claims and damages to determine the extent of exposure to the client and carrier;
