Cloud Engineer

The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, operating, and optimizing cloud infrastructures on Azure & GCP, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
This is a technical, hands-on engineering role, not an architecture position.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage GCP and Azure cloud environments.
- Operate and support production systems (monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization).
- Manage core cloud services:
- Compute, Storage, Networking
- IAM and security controls
- Backup, DR, and high availability
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Support cloud migrations and modernization projects.
- Work closely with networking and security teams.
- Implement cost optimization strategies (FinOps).
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Provide advanced (L3) support when required.
