Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Deployment and Administration: Installing, configuring, and upgrading Ceph clusters, including managing monitors (MONs) and Object Storage Daemons (OSDs).
- Performance Optimization: Tuning Ceph for optimal block, object, and file system storage performance based on workload needs.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitoring cluster health, performance, and capacity, using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or the Ceph Dashboard.
- Troubleshooting: Resolving complex storage incidents, such as PG (Placement Group) inconsistencies, OSD failures, and data rebalancing issues.
