(some requirements specific to VF-9 – large milling center)

-Can do own setups

-Can do program edits and understands/uses offsets

-Able to clean inside machine and climb stairs

-Able to maintain machine (coolant refill, way-oil refills, etc.)

-Can move heavy material and machine components (vises, fixtures, etc.)

-Can operate a forklift

-Willingness to work and learn

-Stays busy during down time

Strongly Desired Qualities:

-Lead-man personality/abilities

-Can program and/or complete heavy program edits

-Willing to teach/assist VF-2 operator

-Willing to utilize manual machines if needed

-Can design/make job fixtures as needed
