The role of a CNC Machinist supports our Completions Team by ensuring the capacity and value of the well is maximized through precise machining operations.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and maintaining Mazak CNC machines for both turning and milling operations.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Programming CNC machines using Mazatrol or G-code, adjusting settings for optimal performance and accuracy.
- Inspecting finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshooting and resolving machining issues to ensure efficient production flow.
- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area.
