Responsibilities
Your mission. We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer/Setter to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the precise programming, setup, and operation of CNC machinery to manufacture high precision, complex machined components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Machine Programming
- Plan, create, and optimise CNC programs from customer-supplied drawings and 3D models.
- Apply best practice machining strategies, utilising the latest tooling and workholding technologies to achieve optimal results.
- Use Openmind Hypermill CAM software to develop efficient and accurate machining programs.
Machine Setup & Operation
- Prepare and configure 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centres.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and workholding solutions.
- Load raw materials and components, ensuring accurate positioning and alignment.
