The Youth Elevate Program is structured to assist youth who face challenges entering the workforce. Over the course of five weeks, participants will engage in workshops to hone skills like time management and workplace communication. This culminates in a 10-week paid job placement tailored to individual career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate actively in skills workshops
• Complete short-term certifications, including WHIMIS
• Engage in a 10-week work placement
• Access individualized support services
• Work with employers for constructive job experiences
Requirements:
• Ages 15-30 and currently unemployed
• Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Not enrolled in educational programs
• Commitment to the full program
