The University Hospitals of Leicester is one of the largest Hospital Trusts in the country and treated over a million patients last year. UHL has one of the largest Imaging departments in the NHS; a medical specialty that encapsulates a wide variety of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology practices capable of diagnosis and treatment of a large array of conditions.

The Imaging Services covers a wide variety of clinical departments; sub‑specialties who focus on specific referring specialisms e.g. Musculoskeletal, Paediatric, Vascular, Neurology, Head and Neck, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine, Accident and Emergency, Oncology, Genitourinary and General Surgery.
