Common Operations Picture (COP) Specialist

Summary About the Position: You will manage the USAFRICOM Theater COP using the Global Command & Control System-Joint (GCCS-J), and associated Command and Control (C2) systems for the display and dissemination of critical information for key decision makers in the Joint Operations Center and other USAFRICOM Operating cells as required. Responsibilities Coordinate information from various DOD sensors/databases and selects information that best meets the Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs). Responsible for the initial assessment of situational awareness data to ensure relevancy to the USAFRICOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
