Primary Duties Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in the student’s Individualized Support Plan (ISP). Support the student with social-emotional regulation using strategies provided by the learning support team. Foster positive peer relationships and support the development of communication and language skills, including the use of AAC as required. Provide assistance with communication, mobility, and personal care needs (including toileting and feeding) as necessary, ensuring dignity and respect at all times. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to help create and maintain inclusive learning environments that promote active participation. Encourage and facilitate the student’s engagement in classroom and school-wide activities, ensuring meaningful involvement alongside peers.
