Purpose of the Position Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring a compliance framework across all business facets. The role will evolve into a medium‑term Compliance Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Embed a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance risk management and monitoring plans.
Ensure staff compliance with applicable legislation, including required training.
Stay current on legislation affecting institutional asset management, including POPIA, Financial Advisory Act, Financial Intelligence Centre Act, CISCA, Regulation 28, and Medical Schemes Act.
Investigate and resolve compliance‑related breaches.
