Main responsibilities
- Place new purchase orders, confirm them and expedite them as indicated by the priority reports.
- Ask the supplier for a copy of the packing list and the tracking number when the shipment has been made by the supplier.
- Request inventory from other companies and/or branches when the shipping date confirmed by the supplier does not avoid component shortages.
- Request substitute components when the original component will take a long time to arrive at the PCC department.
- Follow up on the C-Hold report on a daily basis to expedite its components.
- Support in the clarification of receipt discrepancies to avoid paying for material not received.
- Maintain discrepancies in purchase orders between the AS400 and SAP systems within the indicators (exception report).
- Follow up on excess inventory indicators to work on reducing it (Excess Stock report, Quantity of locations with excess stock report).
