Computer Aided Design Drafter

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and designing OSP fiber infrastructure as well as fiber schematics.
• Create accurate OSP network maps.
• Prepare drawings and designs according to client engineering specifications using applicable software.
• Provide support to other internal teams as needed such as to permit packages and traffic control plans.
• Make design decisions regarding construction and safety methods in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as client supplied information.
• Prepare detailed Construction Drawings for clients adhering to industry standards.
• Communicate with internal staff and clients over phone and email.
• Manage production/time of multiple workflows.
• Perform quality checks on plan design drawings.
• Have familiarity with telecom projects detailing outdoor equipment, indoor building layouts, and fiber diagrams.
