A growing construction team is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support preconstruction and bidding efforts across a diverse portfolio of projects in New York City. This role is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure competitive and comprehensive bids.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals based on drawings, specifications, and project scope
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing using industry-standard methods and software
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure complete and competitive coverage
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities
