Construction Materials Technician

Macquarie Geotechnical is a construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical consultancy Company providing services on civil, road & rail and mine infrastructure projects in metropolitan and regional New south Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

We are currently seeking applicants to work in our Wollongong office located in the suburb of Unanderra. The position is full-time.

The position will involve:

• Liaising with the client to interpret work instructions
• Field based construction materials testing and sampling
• Laboratory based testing construction materials to AS & TfNSW test methods
• Compilation of data into worksheets and generating test reports
• Reviewing of project specific specifications

Applicants should have:

• Certificate 4 in Laboratory Techniques (minimum requirement)
• Nuclear Densometer licence (preferred but not essential)
