Consultant - Anaesthesia

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain anesthesia procedures and practices.

• Work closely with operating theatre staff, hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.

• Collaborate with anesthesia technicians and nurses.

• Ensure efficient operation of anesthesia services.

• Maintain an active privilege consistent with specialty scope, renewable every 2 years.

• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia and counteract adverse reactions or complications.

• Record type and amount of anesthesia and patient condition throughout procedure.

• Provide and maintain life support and airway management; prepare patients for emergency surgery.
