Content Writer and Editor, Endangered Archives Programme

Location: St Pancras

Contract: Fixed Term for 6 months

Hours: Part time for 21.6 hours

Grade: C

Salary: £18,786 Pro Rata (FTE £31,244)

This is the starting salary for this role unless the successful candidate is able to evidence being in receipt of a higher salary in which case this may be reviewed.

About the role

The Endangered Archives Programme (EAP) at the British Library gives grants via an annual funding round to projects to survey and digitise archive collections across the world. Since 2004, the Programme has helped digitise more than sixteen million images and 35,000 sound tracks. Archive types digitised so far include rare printed sources, manuscripts, visual materials, audio recordings.
