The Continental Hazardous Cargo Supervisor is the deployed regulatory specialist responsible for the safe and proper shipment of all dangerous goods moving under United States Antarctic Program (USAP) transportation control. The Continental Hazardous Cargo Supervisor will apply for packaging waivers and interim hazard class designations with government regulators including the Air Force Material Command (AFMC) and the Department of Transportation (DOT) during TDY periods. The Continental Hazardous Cargo Supervisor will be the primary certification trainer and provides site-specific dangerous goods transportation safety training for the Unites States Antarctic Program for continental staff.
