Controller (Corporate)

Our client, a multinational organization, is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting activities for its Canadian operations. Reporting into Finance leadership, this role will oversee financial reporting, controls, compliance, audit coordination, and process improvement within a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Oversee general ledger, revenue recognition, inventory, leases, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting
• Manage external audits, internal controls, and financial compliance requirements
• Support tax compliance, including indirect tax filings and year‑end tax provisions
• Drive ERP and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
