Position: Cook at Brothers Indian Grocery Store, located at 51 Supreme Ct, Halifax, NS B3N 0G1. Salary: $30.00 per hour for 35 hours per week. Permanent, full time employment. Working hours: Morning, Evening and Night shifts. Start date: pending.

Responsibilities

• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Manage kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
