Summary This position is located in the Acquisitions Section, Acquisitions and Deposits Division, Office of the Assistant Register and Director Operations, Copyright Office. The position description numbers for this position are 110747, 110748, and 110749 The salary range indicated reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. The incumbent of this position will work a flexitime work schedule. This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position. Responsibilities Performs special searches of various online catalogs and databases to locate and/or verify bibliographic or acquisitions data supporting various library functions, related to the development of the general and special collections of the Library of Congress via copyright deposits. Performs complex searches to identify the relationship of the piece in hand to the collection as a whole. Follows all pertinent instructions concerning the recognition and comparison of dates, authors, titles, etc. ...
