 What You’ll Do 
As a Correctional Officer, you’ll work 12.25-hour shifts (Days 6:45 AM–7:00 PM; Evenings 6:45 PM–7:00 AM) You’ll be assigned one or the other depending on the needs of the facility. You’ll help maintain safety, security, and order within the facility by:
Monitoring inmate activity to prevent disturbances or escapes
Conducting headcounts, security checks, and searches for contraband
