 Black & McDonald’s Ottawa team is growing! If you are an analytical and collaborative professional searching for the opportunity to build a solid foundation for your career, this position is for you. The Estimator is located in Ottawa, Ontario and reports directly to the Estimating Manager.
 Estimators analyze costs and prepare work take-offs and estimates. The successful candidate will provide support to project operations with emphasis on estimating, reporting and monitoring progress and handling project changes. 
 Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 Prepare estimates of cost of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects based on contract drawings/specifications, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications. 
 Coordinates price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers and architects regarding tenders.
