Job Summary
The Costuming Team Leader is responsible for the overall care and maintenance of all costume pieces that are utilized in the Guest Experience shows and special events. They work closely with the show performers to ensure a smooth show operation based on varying schedules. Responsible for all costume repairs and when needed, costume manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Makes costumes and craft pieces, as well as altering existing costumes for show productions
- Must be able to work in backstage settling if needed
- Participates in off‑site or on‑site public relations events involving costumes and performers
- Shopping for costume notions and fabrics on a regular basis
- Daily laundry including washing, hanging, ironing and steaming all costume pieces
- Organizes weekly dry cleaning pick up and drop off and records items that have been taken and returned by the dry cleaner
