Crane Operator / Rigger

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a NGIS Warehouse Specialistto support unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.

The Crane Rigger assists with inspections and configuring cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, shackles, and sheaves according to weight and size of load to be moved.

Principal Accountabilities

(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)

• Move materials and mobile crane to various locations in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform inspections and operator level maintenance, selection, and configuration of cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, shackles, and sheaves according to weight and size of load to be moved
• Interact closely with the customer for movement of materials
