Reporting to the Controller, the Credit Manager oversees the credit management process, including assessing creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and minimizing bad debts. As the A/R Manager, the A/R Manager oversees the entire receivables process, from invoicing to collections, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Responsibilities:

– Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers, reviewing credit reports from various credit reporting agencies and input from the Ontario Roofing and Construction credit group.

– Overseeing opening of customer cash and terms accounts in company’s ERP solution.

– Negotiate and regularly review customer’s credit limits and terms based on company policy

– Safeguard the company’s financial interests while maintaining positive relationships with our diverse customer base.
