CSSD Operative

CSSD Operative Full-time (39 hours per week) | Permanent | The Purpose of This Role: To assist in the production of sterilised medical devices within the hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, disinfection, packing and autoclaving of instruments using mechanical and manual methods thus ensuring that a high-quality service is maintained. He/she will work closely with other members of the CSSD, Theatre, Endoscopy staff to offer a high standard of service in a clean and friendly environment to members of the public, staff and patients being treated at Bon Secours Hospital. Candidate Criteria: Qualifications Hold a Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification. A QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support is desirable.
